John C. York Jr. - Managing Partner

Mr. York has nearly forty years of experience in the financial services industry. Previously, Mr. York was the chief executive officer of three successful financial companies. Most recently, he was the Chairman of First Commonwealth Savings Bank in Old Town, Alexandria. Founded in 1868, it was Virginia's oldest Savings Bank prior to its sale to a larger commercial bank in 1995. Mr. York also headed two mortgage companies: James Madison Mortgage Company which under Mr. York's leadership became the second largest residential mortgage lender in the Washington DC metro area. James Madison was purchased by a large New York City Financial Institution in 1996. Mr. York also co-founded and headed York Associates Inc., one of the largest multi-family lenders in the Nation. Mr. York also co-founded and was a General Partner of the Cross Hill Georgetown Capital Senior Debt Fund for Technology Companies.
